About

Our Mission

Medea's House of Play offers top-notch early development education for your children.

Our primary focus is developing their problem-solving, decision-making, and self-help skills while fostering interpersonal communication. These core elements contribute significantly to your child's overall development, self-esteem, and confidence. Our comprehensive curriculum is designed with age-appropriate learning activities for every age group, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Our trained and compassionate caregivers ensure your child is always in a safe and developmentally sound environment.

Our Foundation

In 2009, La Tasha Pruitt founded Medea's House of Play, a childcare center that provides a nurturing and safe environment for infants and toddlers. Ms. Tasha, who has over two decades of experience in childcare, decided to pursue formal training in child development education at the local community college, where she obtained her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and Development.

As a single mother of two, Ms. Pruitt is well aware of the level of trust parents place in her center and is dedicated to creating a home-like atmosphere that fosters learning and growth. From her extensive experience, she comprehends the importance of providing a safe and supportive environment for children to explore their surroundings and develop essential skills.
